The Four Generations at Work
Never before have there been four generations in the workplace. This diversity brings richness to the workplace, and potential for conflict as well. This presentation will look at:
The impact of generational similarities
The four generations and their characteristics
Generational core values, workplace characteristics, lifestyle and communication characteristics
How do these differences play out at work?
How can each generation appreciate and utilize their differences?
Speaker:
Jane Ballback
- Jane was a human resources consultant for over 30 years in organizations large and small. She brings a wealth of experience, both professional and personal (she has raised three Millennial children), to this all-important topic. This diversity issue can bring a positive dynamic to the workplace, if it is understood and managed.
This event is free for members, $35 for non-members, and $5 for non-member students.
Parking:
Visitors can park in the parking structure closest to Anaheim West Towers. When entering the structure go up a level to where the parking attendant is and obtain a parking ticket. All participants will receive a validation stamp after the event.
AWWEE OC/IE will be providing lunch and a big thanks to Anaheim Public Utilities Department for providing the location!
